Shichahai, a name which refers to the three lakes Qianhai, Houhai and Xihai, becomes a natural ice rink during winter’s coldest months. Once the ice reaches a thickness of 15 centimeters or more, people are welcome to rent skates (RMB20/pair with no time limit), try out ice bicycles (RMB40/hour) and wanr in the children’s playground (RMB30/person). Rink entrance is RMB15 on weekdays, RMB20 on weekends.
The rink is open every day from 9am-5pm.
