GLOBE INGREDIENTS: A BRIEF OVERVIEW
Globe Ingredients (formerly Globe Fine Chemicals) was established in 1981. It has since developed into a strong, global network of sources and markets. Until 1990 as a member of the Globe Chemicals Hamburg Group and Schweizerhall (Basle), then fully independent. Operating from the Rotterdam mainport as from 1998, Globe has since developed into a reliable, innovative and successful supplier of a wide range of feed, food and pharma ingredients.
Over the years, Globe moved from fine chemical products to a more ingredient/additive-heavy portfolio. In order to reflect this in the company name we decided in 2016 to change our name to Globe Ingredients – which, according to us, is a much better fit.
Globe has its own sales offices in China (Beijing) and Colombia, which are currently managed by our head office in Zwijndrecht (the Netherlands).
